Our Holistic courses are recognised by the Guild of Professional Nail Technicians & the Guild of professional Beauty Therapists. You will be able to join this professional body that will provide you with professional insurance, Latest information in the Beauty Industry, up to date advice/guidance and other benefits for their members.
IS THIS COURSE DIPLOMA ENOUGH TO START DOING CLIENTS AND TO GET A JOB?
Many owners of beauty salons, nail bars and spas are aware of our excellent reputation and are happy to employ therapists holding our diploma. We train salon and spa therapists in house and at the Academy. We also go out to local colleges and institutions to train their students, and hold workshops for the local councils.
ARE THE COURSE TRAINERS QUALIFIED
Our lecturers hold Professional Teaching, Internal Verifying and Assessor qualifications. They have professional qualifications in all the subjects that they teach and our teachers have been training in various locations for many years.
PAYMENTS
A deposit is required to book a course through Escape, the remaining balance is payable 14 days prior to the course date. If a course is booked with less than 14 days before the course date, the full amount will then be required. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.
WHAT IF I FAIL AN ASSESSMENT?
If for any reason you do fail an assessment we will ask you to retake the course free of charge on the next available date.
WHY ARE COURSES SHORTER THAN AT COLLEGES OF FURTHER EDUCATION?
Fast-track training with small groups of student's who really want to learn, enables a more effective and speedier learning process.
We cover the essential theory for Health, Safety & hygiene, but most of the training is practical. Escape provides training manuals which include everything you need to start practicing and to enhance your knowledge and learning. You are expected to undertake further study by reading your manuals at home.
However we do recommended that after your course you re-cap with your manuals and look at other recommended text books for your continual professional development.
WILL I GET PLENTY OF PRACTICE ON THE COURSE?
Yes - clients/models are brought in for most courses and you will also be expected to work on and experience treatments from fellow students.
WHO WILL I BE WORKING ON?
You will work on fellow students who attend the day, if necessary we can arrange a model for you or you may be able to bring one with you depending on the how many students are booked onto the course. Please speak to your tutor to arrange.
COURSE TIMES
Registration is 15 minutes before the start of the course. Times are approximate and depend on how many students are booked onto a course. We cannot be held responsible for any missed travel arrangements due to a class finishing slightly later or earlier than planned.

All courses start at 9.30am, but vary for finishing times please see course details.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT MAKE MY COURSE?
Deposits and course payments are non refundable, courses maybe transferable subject to conditions – please check with your tutor. Failure to attend a confirmed course will result in the loss of all payments made for that course.
In the event of a genuine reason for cancellation (proof of which may be required) a request for transfer to a later course will be considered at the discretion of Escape Training Academy. If the request is successful an administration fee of £20 per course will be charged.

Please contact us prior to your course to discuss your requirements and we will make sure we will help in any way we can to help you gain your qualification.
ENGLISH IS NOT MY FIRST LANGUAGE
We want your course to be as beneficial to you as we can, we have had a lot of students where English was not their first language. Please contact us so that we can help with any requirements.
TRAVEL
We have a lot of students that travel to us from all over the country and abroad. If you are travelling a long distance please let us know and we can recommend some places to stay within the area.

- Clothing should be comfortable with short sleeves or sleeves that can be rolled up.
- Jewellery (except wedding rings) must not be worn. We recommend that you leave jewellery at home, as we cannot be held responsible if items are misplaced.
- Hair must be secured away from the face. If working over the face, please remove make up before the training course starts.
- Nails should be short, without varnish or extensions.
- Lash extensions should not be worn if you are learning lash extensions.
